Your Letters

Sally

My Story:

Sally and kittens My owners (Mom & Dad) no longer had any pets. They had been Owned By both cats and dogs but had lost their last dog, Barney, to old age a little over a year ago. They realized it was time to pick out a new friend. Off to the Humane Society they went. I picked them out (I was so friendly and charming!!) and they took me home.

catnip winner They made an appointment for me at the Vet's to have me checked over and spayed. About three weeks after they had brought me home and I had taken over, they took me in for my overnight stay at the vet's. I didn't like the idea much but I went anyway. What choice did I have?? They used a pet carrier that I couldn't break out of...not like the cardboard box from the Humane Society.

Boy, was Mom surprised when the Vet called her the next morning and told her that he couldn't spay me because I was too far advanced in my pregnancy!!!!! On April 1st after Mom got home from work, I had FIVE beautiful kittens (APRIL FOOL, Mom and Dad!!!!) And they thought I was eating so much and getting wider just because I had a tapeworm!!

Well, they still love me and I'm still in charge. So far they've found homes for two of my babies and will keep one so that's just two to go. I'm sure I can count on them to place the other two with some nice people. Anyway I really could use some catnip because my babies keep me pretty worn out!!!

Love, Sally
