Your Letters

Cosmo, Irving, and The Benevolent King Fester

Hello others of the fine feline species,

We just wanted to write to say that we love our human, too. She's kind of a nutjob sometimes, but we try to keep her sane.

Mostly, we love her because she understands her position in the cat pack. She is on the lowest level, and she's happy with that. Under the direction of our benevolent head cat, Fester, we all live happily in our little apartment in Canada. We play with her everyday and make sure that she goes to bed at a reasonable hour so that we can get some sleep, too.

More than anything, though, we love our human because she understands the basic job description of a cat: it is the job of a cat to know; it is not the job of a cat to care.

And, she gives us dinner whenever we want it!

So, there are a few of us felines who really do love our humans...despite their obvious imperfections.

Bye,

Cosmo, Irving, and The Benevolent King Fester
